No two floor coverings should be treated in the same way. Why is that? Floor sealing is one of the most demanding processes in specialized cleaning. In this multi-step, chemical-mechanical process, the worn-out protective film is first removed (stripped) before the floor is resealed in several layers following a thorough interim cleaning. Each floor sealing process must be individually tailored to the specific flooring material. This involves the use of both strong cleaning agents and high-performance machines that leave no room for error. Environmental factors such as humidity and temperature must also be meticulously taken into account. If the pH level is incorrect, the wrong machine-pad combination is selected, or the coating is not suitable for the floor’s composition, several square meters of flooring can quickly be damaged, or it may be necessary to remove and reapply the coating.
